UM-Flint Alumni Laura Bell and Allison Wilcox of Lewis & Knopf, CPAs will be on campus on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 to talk about career preparation in the accounting field. Pre-business, accounting, finance, and general business students are encouraged to attend! This is a multiple part series featuring UM-Flint SOM Alumni presenting on internships and career readiness.

About the speakers:
Laura Bell, CPA, joined Lewis & Knopf in 2016, shortly after graduating from the University of Michigan-Flint. In her role as staff accountant, she provides tax, audit and QuickBooks services for the firm’s clients. She also prepares not-for-profit tax returns. Laura believes that building strong relationships, continually gaining knowledge and maintaining ethics are essential for a firm to be successful.

Allison Wilcox joined the Lewis & Knopf team in 2014. She currently serves as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and staff accountant for the firm’s Small Business Services department. She specializes in providing small business services, including QuickBooks support, bookkeeping and payroll. Allison serves clients in a variety of industries, with a main focus on medical and dental practices.
